Overview
In today's knowledge economy intellectual capital plays a fundamental role in the value creation dynamics of organisations. This is particularly relevant for those organisations dealing with the production of knowledge-intensive services.
This research project, titled "Intellectual capital evaluation and management models for value creation dynamics and analysis of the impact on organisational performance: strategic and managerial implications. The case of health care organisations" recognising the strategic relevance of intellectual capital dimensions for health care organisations, is developing knowledge to support and drive managers in assessing and managing the key knowledge asset value drivers affecting the performance and the value creation capacity of health care organisations. The project is developing models, approaches, tools and guidelines for both interpretative and prescriptive purposes.
The project is financed by the Italian Minister of University and Scientific Research (MIUR), and it is developed and published within the National Scientific Research Programmes (PRIN 2007) and involves three Italian University: University of Basilicata, University of Bologna and Polytechnic of Milan.
